From Prison to Grad School: A Tale of Two Brothers Education is the Destination It is often said in the urban community that crime pays. I'm here to challenge that thought and let you know it does not. Jay and I were very close. To lose someone you love for 19 years did not pay, but cost me and my family time that we will never get back. People always wondered why I was so good in sports but what they didn't know is that my drive came from something that foreign to most people that grew up with me. See, unlike most kids, I've never been to Cedar Point, Six Flags, Disney Land and whereever else kids go. My weekends were spent in one of the many State of Michigan Correctional Facilities. I honed my skills at Martin Luther King Park. I was nothing for me to score 4 touch downs in a game or drop 25 points on opposing teams. My drive was different. How did we get here? Somebody please pinch me...let me know its real.  Earlier this year I was named among one of the Top 100 Inspirational People Under 30 in Social Media . My app was also featured in the Apple Store "Best New Apps" category. From the moment my app went live, I have being working hard to ensure all of you that it is working properly. I'm super excited about this app and how interactive it is. One key to my success is my accessibility. I'm not the guy thats unreachable. Living a Vibrant Christian Faith Living A Vibrant Christian Faith We are sinners saved by grace through faith....well...at least I am. When I found out about God's forgiveness and how much he loved me, I was happy. I was relieved on the inside. A weight was lifted. I started goin hard for the Kingdom . Seriously. I had done so much "wrong" I didn't think there was a place for someone like me. I thought to myself, "How could He use me? I sin daily ." See, but once I began to chase after His heart, dive deeper into the word ( Bible ) and get some understanding, I learned, or should I say, I discovered that I was a representative of God. And just think...Boy was representing Him in all the wrong ways.
